Biography
Born in Penang, Malaysia, Weilun was educated in Singapore and graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. With a background in interactive media and design, he now thrives in advertising while pursuing photography and painting in his spare time.
Weilun began his advertising career as an Art Director at Publicis Singapore, laying a solid foundation in the field, and later joined TBWA\ Group Singapore, where he further honed his creative skills. Over the years, he has developed into a seasoned creative lead, skilled in collaborating with teams and providing both creative and art direction across campaigns
Known for his versatile craft skills, Weilun brings ideas to life through art direction, design, storytelling, and brand communications. He embraces change in the ever-evolving creative landscape, staying adaptable across mediums. As an INFJ, he combines quiet introspection with a natural understanding of people.
For the past five years, Weilun has worked as a freelance senior creative, leading art direction and campaign launches across agencies including Keko, Section, LEGO, LePub, GOVT, Dentsu Creative, Ogilvy, and Leo Burnett. With over 20 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in creative leadership, art direction, production, and execution, with a sharp eye for detail.

- Led the creative development for Changi Airport Group’s Changi Millionaire Campaign 2025 and managed A Touch of Magic campaign
- Served as the main Art-based Creative Lead for Toyota, driving the brand refresh for the Toyota GR (Gazoo Racing) division in Southeast Asia.
- Led overarching creative and art direction, establishing a unified brand visual across print, film, and digital platforms for various Toyota campaigns.
- Key creative for launch campaigns of Toyota Raize, Toyota Avanza, and Toyota Veloz.
